A quick refresher on defense by LINK

A quick refresher on defense....2 cities port in next to you, incoming is as below, landing in a 3 sec period

8 x waves of 100k s/bombs
3 x waves of 3k work, 3k warr, 3k scouts, 3k pikes, 3k sw, 69k arch, 3k cavs, 3k phr
2 x waves of 1k cavs and 99k arch
3 x waves of 1k work, 1k warr,1k scouts, 1k pikes, 1k sw, 1k arch, 1k cavs, 1k phr, 1k tran, 1k rams, 40k ball and 50k pults
2 x 100k trans
2 x waves of 99997 cavs, 1 arch, 1 ball and 1 pult

How do u defend it?

Pls mail me ur defense.

P.S Shutting Gates, Porting, Truce and Holiday are not an option...LOL!

-Other wall types are OK but you must have atleast 1 ab and an AT before each wave lands

ACTION
-Keep gates shut untill attcks hit, this saves ur scouts from being descouted. Ur scouts are there to absorb the bombs
-U can have fodder for healing, this defense doesnt rely on healing because attacks are so close its very hard to heal in-between all waves
If phracts are being sent in jaq hit increase balls to 45k and also scouts to 2-3 million
-Keep rebuilding abs, check incoming and heal. Now you have alot hnr at this point, send 100k waves of trps that will give him hnr back (phcts)

We said to shut gates and let ur attacker get report. I want to clarify that ur GATES MUST BE OPEN when ur NOT ONLINE. Those defense mails were based on what to do when ur ONLINE.

Attacking Waves

Here is a review of some attack waves that most of you should know but maybe not know the names, and for some of the new members who may have not seen these yet. This helps in the heat of battle to just call out attacks needed


(Mac Attack)

- 3k work, 3k warr, 3k scouts, 3k pikes, 3k swords, 69k arch,
3k cavs, 3k phracts

- Used for clearing fodder, cavs and phracts


(Cavs & Archers)

- 1k cavs and 99k archers
- Used for taking out archers after fodder is removed OR taking out ATs if there's only ATs on walls


(Mech Attacks)


- 1k work, 1k warr, 1k scouts, 1k pikes, 1k swords, 73k arch,
1k cavs, 1k phracts, 10k ballies and 10k pults

- Used for taking out fodder and archers
- Hint: more mechs in this attack the more archers
you'll takeout
More mechs can be added, just reduce amount of archers sent



(Jaq Attack)

- 10 archers, 10 ballies, 10 pults, 99970 cavs
- Very effective against mechs when there is no fodder


(Cav Smack)

- 1k scouts and 99K cavs
- Effective at killing troops fast when there are no walls, esp NO abatis


Please note that all attacks just listed are a general description of what the attacks are used for, and of course there are variations in each. For the most part this is what the attacks are most commonly used for or how players in the past have found them most effective.

*Fodder is all troops we call meat. Pike, Sword, Warrior, Worker
